This car comes with almost every conceivable option, other than the Aero pack i don’t think there was a box that wasn’t ticked.

Although i do love the Aero pack, we have had several without it, and i do think without it it ads to “Wolf in sheeps clothing” affect.

The bright silver outside is very nicely broken up with the black sliding panoramic sunroof, along with the gloss black trims. The night pack, which gives black mirror caps, rear privacy and matt black wheels help entice the looks.

The beautiful styling carries on inside. The seats are just delightful. Full black leather sports seats, they hold you in place perfectly and are electrically adjustable so you can get yourself in the perfect position at the push of a few buttons on the door card. In your hands is this flat-bottomed half leather and Alcantara multifunctional steering wheel with aluminium spokes and the “AMG” logo that looks and feels fantastic.

Of course, there’s an infotainment screen and it’s controlled by the small scroll wheel behind your gear selector. It has everything you’d expect; SatNav, Reversing camera,Bluetooth Media, Radio and vehicle settings, but it also has an awesome set of dials that give you live reading of how much horsepower you’re producing, your oil temperature and your engine temperature. The whole interior consists of only the highest materials and builds quality.

What’s not to love about a hatchback with a 2.0 turbocharged engine, 4-wheel drive, 376hp and an absolutely incredible dual-clutch gearbox? The car drives so effortlessly when in comfort mode but, having the Rare Drivers Dynamic pack, there are 4  more fun modes to choose from; sport, sport plus, individual and…the optional race giving you LSD and harder damper settings. In comfort, the steering is light, the throttle is easy and it’s a real pleasure to drive. The individual mode lets you customize each setting to suit your drive so you can easily switch between a set mode and your personal one. Each mode alters the steering, suspension and customises the ESP and transmission evidently turning the car more and more into an absolute demon on the track.
