Easily seats up to 6 people, and can legally transport 4 people as there are rear seatbelts, a luxurious double bed, mains hook-up with a leisure battery, a pop top roof with a double bed, two hobs, a grill, Fiamma awning, a stainless steel sink and a fridge! The rock and roll bed slides out so easily and is super secure in position and the same for the pop top bed! This camper really does have everything you need to be able to just get up and drive away for as long as you like!
In the driver’s cockpit, you have two comfortable two-tone cloth seats, a leather-wrapped multifunctional steering wheel and a small digital display in your gauge cluster where you can see all sorts of different features like your fuel consumption, what music is playing and lots of other useful features. The infotainment system is a large touch screen with shortcut buttons on either side. It’s super responsive and has all the features you need like Radio, a CD player and Media as well as a brilliant new feature called App Connect. This is where you’ll find Apple Car Play, Android Auto, and mirror link and you can connect your phone to the screen in the car and use it as your phone! You get all the most important apps like Music, the phone app and google maps but you also get apps like WhatsApp and Spotify!
Driving the T6 is an utter delight. Your mirrors give you a great feel for the size of your van and to furthermore help you with that you have a rear parking graphic in your infotainment screen. The DSG gearbox is just phenomenal. Upshifts and downshift are literally seamless. It’s just incredible. The steering is light and the ride is super comfortable due to the soft suspension and the high profile Bridgestone tyres fitted to the 17″ 5 spoke alloy wheels. This Transporter is also the 4Motion model which is Volkswagen’s 4WD system.
