Infinity. Heard of them? No? Well, let me enlighten you. I’m sure you’ve heard of a company called Nissan right? Nissan is Infiniti’s parent company but Infinity is more drawn towards the top-end luxury side of motoring. So there’s no need to worry about any reliability issues because Nissan is one of the best!

Now that’s out of the way, just take a good look at this car. There’s no doubt, this car is just amazing to look at! That Iridium Blue with contrasting chrome accents on the front grille and around the windows is just wonderful! There’s 15 spoke 18″ alloy wheels and as you look through you can see “Infinity” branded silver-painted brake callipers which is a lovely little touch. The bodywork is ever so angular and to fully appreciate this car, you need to look at all the little quirks and details that make this car so beautiful. For example, the chrome vents on the front fenders. They may seem like a simple cooling point for your brakes but imagine the car without it. That small piece of chrome does a lot in terms of breaking up colours and making it so much more appealing to the eyes.

The inside of this car is a divine place to be. Everything is so well suppressed from the outside and all you have to focus on is being comfortable, relaxed and, of course, the road! All the materials are of such high quality. The seats are made with soft perforated leather and look absolutely gorgeous, the centre console and door cards have this stunning aluminium effect running down and across them and the multifunctional steering wheel is wrapped in the finest leather. As all new cars are going, the Q60 has two large touch screens, one for your SatNav, 360-degree camera and Reversing Camera and one for all your infotainment needs, such as Bluetooth Phone Connection, an Information section, Phone Mail, Vehicle Settings and Voice Recognition features.

Driving the Infinity is also an absolute pleasure. The gearbox is just phenomenal. The feeling of instantaneous changing is surreal yet magnificent as you calmly cruise down the road in your quietly suppressed cockpit. It really is a wonderful experience. The magical thing about modern motoring is the ability to change the way the car feels and handles at the flick of a switch or the push of a button and Nissan, sorry, Infinity has taken that ability and given this elegant luxury cruiser some different driving modes – sports mode, a snow mode and a personal mode. Sport adds weight to your steering and will climb higher in the revs when accelerating, snow mode enhances your traction control for maximum grip and personal enables you to find the perfect drive for you based on throttle response, steering weight and traction control settings.

One more point to add would be this car’s safety features. It has Lane keep assist which will alert you if you glide out of your lane, Emergency Assist, which will alert you if you are travelling to fast towards an object or car in front of you and will help you brake, and speed assist, where you can limit your speed and keep it constant.

To Infinity and beyond!

Front and Rear Sensors, Curb View Camera, AWD Drivetrain, Memory Electric Seats, Heated Front Seats, Electric Folding Mirrors, 2 USB Ports, AUX jack and Aluminium Sport Pedals.
