There is no doubt, this is a stunning car. Just look at the way the body lines elegantly flow along the sides and the way the roofline flows beautifully down to the boot lid. Mercedes’ design team have really excelled with this one. The front end is aggressive with the large air intakes, a sharp front splitter and the diamond grille. The rear end has some gorgeous tail lights and a gloss black rear diffuser finished off with some chrome exhaust tips. A car that looks good from every angle!
The interior is no different – Stunning. The materials used are all of the highest quality and all joined together with contrasting red stitching which just looks fantastic. The adjustable sports seats are made out of leather and Alcantara, there’s a lovely leather-wrapped multifunctional steering wheel and behind that are some aluminium surrounded dials that have sporty red needles. Mercedes’ infotainment system has everything you need, such as a SatNav, Radio, a CD Player and all your system information and settings.
The drive has to match the looks, doesn’t it? Of course it does and, of course, Mercedes wouldn’t leave us disappointed. This CLA is a rare manual version and the manual gearbox in this car is incredibly smooth. It slips into every gear with little to no effort. The clutch and the steering are both light, but if you do want to put a little more effort into the drive then you can have that too! There are different driving modes which you can switch between at the push of a button: Eco, Comfort, Sport and individual. Comfort and Eco speak for themselves, sport tightens the steering and sharpens the throttle response and Individual enables you to set the car up for the perfect with your most favoured settings.
