The wonderful 1 series. For the facelifted 1 series, BMW has modernised the whole look of the car. The headlights are these stunning halo LED’s that help give these BMW’s such a distinctive look, the new M-Sport front bumper has some big air intake vents and the rear has been treated with some new, larger LED taillights. Finished in a stunning Estoril Blue with a set of 18″ silver alloy wheels.
The inside is brilliantly BMW. All the seats are covered in the finest Alcantara and finished off with lovely blue stitching to match the body.
BMW’s iDrive is installed and it’s such a great system. Very easy to use and navigate yourself around all features such as Radio, CD player, SatNav, Bluetooth phone connection and all of your service requirements. The service requirements on the car is a great feature, even down to telling you how many miles are left on your brake pads and discs etc.
Driving the one series is such a pleasing experience. These cars are actually the only rear-wheel drive hatchbacks on the market so it’s a different type of drive than your usual hatch. It’s so smooth, easy and relaxing to drive. But if you do fancy a bit more excitement in your drive then you can always change the drive mode with the push of a button. There are 4 drive modes: Eco Pro, Comfort, Sport and Sport +. Eco Pro and Comfort speak for themselves, Sport tightens up the steering and throttle response and Sport + furthermore tightens up those two aspects and also turns off your traction control for a little extra involvement…
