Just look at this car! Audi has done a fantastic job with the third generation Audi TT and that might be because of the design cues taken from the R8… The sharp LED headlights, the huge front grille, the deep side skirts and the noticeably flared wheel arches that make a lovely difference to the shape. Rear tinted windows, dual exhaust pipes as well as the lovely 18″ alloy wheels.

Inside the TT and in front of the driver is Audi’s Virtual Cockpit with switchable displays including different layouts for the tacho and speedometer and a full-screen SatNav, all controlled via the buttons on the Flat-bottomed multifunctional leather-wrapped steering wheel and the controller next to the gear lever. It’s a really lovely place to be, you’re seated in half leather sports seats and everything is made out of the best and most durable materials – Typical Audi.

The Audi TT is a lovely car to drive. The clutch is light, the steering is weightless and the suspension does a great job at soaking up all the Islands bumps and lumps despite being such a low car. 182hp tied with a whopping 280ftlb of torque from that turbocharged diesel! A top speed of 150mph yet combined fuel economy of 67.3mpg and tax-friendly CO2 emissions of 110g/km so just £46 to tax! You get 5 drive modes with Audi’s ‘Drive Select’ – Efficiency, Comfort, Auto, Dynamic and Individual. Efficiency and Comfort speak for themselves, Auto will detect how you are driving and adjust everything for you, Dynamic heightens everything to the max for the best possible driving capabilities out of the car and Individual is where you can tailor sperate driving aspect to suit your preferred driving style.
