Who doesn’t love a Golf? They are some of the most well-renowned cars because of their incredible reliability and their good looks! The Mk7 Golf is, in my opinion, the best looking out of them all! Those sharp headlights and taillights, the sleek body and the aggressive, detailed front bumper. It stands out so much is this gorgeous Tornado Red paint and the roof and wing mirrors are painted in a gloss black to make it a little different and continue the red and black colour scheme. It’s fitted with a lovely set of 18″ two-tone 5 double spoke alloy wheels.
The inside is also distinctively “Golf”. There are some lovely grey tartan sports seats, aluminium sports pedals and a leather-wrapped multifunctional flat-bottomed steering wheel. The infotainment system is wonderful! Touchscreen, of course, with everything you need like radio, Bluetooth media, Bluetooth telephone, all your vehicle settings and it’s also where your FRONT and rear parking sensor graphic shows up when in reverse.
There is nothing better than a manual transmission. Shifting all the way up through the gears with maximum involvement in your drive. The clutch is perfectly weighted, the steering is so tight and there are only two rotations of the wheel to go from lock to lock so manoeuvring is super easy! 180hp means you’ll have plenty of power for any needed overtakes as well as a whopping 280lbft of torque!
Safety is something that these cars are known for. It is equipped with frontal collision warning systems and frontal collision prevention systems which will warn you first and then actually brake for you in case of an emergency. That, as well as its solid build quality, is why The MK7 Golf is rated Top Safety Pick+ and also gets a 9.3 rating by the US News Scorecard!
