If you’re going to have a Mini, well you might as well have the best one.
The John Cooper Works comes with unique bumpers, different side skirts and 17″ gloss black JCW alloy wheels with some tasteful “John Cooper Works” badges strategically placed in different area’s of the car, just in case you didn’t know what you were up against.
John Cooper was the guy that sent Mini’s racing status through the roof way back in the 50’s and 60’s and the “John Cooper” name is still used to this day to commemorate him, he designed the first high-performance Mini Cooper for the 1960 Monte Carlo Rally – and perking up the performance of production models. This particular JCW Mini is finished in a stunning Chilli Red with a gloss black roof, black mirror caps and black rear spoiler, and what a colour combination it is!
The interior in this Mini is stunning. In the front, you will find 2 black leather/Alcantara Recaro seats with a nice John cooper works embossed in the headrests, heated sports seats for the cold mornings and you’ll even find the steering wheel wrapped in leather Alcantara giving you a comfortable but firm grip when needed, There’s gloss black trim on both door cards and across the dash. The handbrake and gear shifter boots are nicely wrapped in leather with attentive red stitching. This whole car gives you a solid and Top-class feel! Lastly, if you look up, whilst sat inside, you’ll see a gorgeous pan sunroof with, both, tilt and slide functions.
The little minis are so much fun to drive! That 1.6 turbocharged engine has a 208hp output which is more than enough for a Mini that only weighs just over 1200kg and is as nimble as can be! They handle amazingly with their low centre of gravity and small but wide size. The steering is well weighted and the gear shifter slots into every gear super satisfyingly! There’s a sports button which sharpens up the throttle response and tightens your steering up for some extra performance at the push of a button! Its such a pleasure to drive and when you want it to be, it can be the most fun car in the world!
