What an incredible car. The Evo X. Especially rare in this beautiful pearl white and ever so tastefully upgraded. Just look at it. The black and white colour scheme looks incredible. The 18″ Black twin spoke Rota wheels, the carbon splitter and side skirts and that massive rear diffuser. It, of course, has the huge spoiler and roof fins and last but not least those aggressive bonnet vents in a triangular formation to cool all the power…
The interior has also been spiced up by the previous owner. The steering wheel has been wrapped in Alcantara and the shift paddles have been extended with much larger carbon fibre paddles with an orange outline which stands out and looks amazing. It’s fitted with the Mitsubishi Multi Communication System which is a touchscreen interface that has a Bluetooth phone option, CD player, Radio and SatNav. The half-leather and Alcantara seats are extremely cushioned Holding you firmly in place.
Finally, onto the drive, 412hp. Brought up from 300hp due to an amazing choice of hardware and software. This includes an EcuTek engine management programme, APR strengthened Con Rod Bolts, a Sytek Hi-Flow Fuel Pump and in tank Walbro fuel pump kit, 3 Port Boost Solenoid Upgrade and a Typhoon Hard Pipe Induction kit with a K&N cone filter. The exhaust has been upgraded with a full Scorpion exhaust system including the stainless steel 3″ downpipe and DeCat and the 3″ system with 4″ tailpipes for better airflow exiting the engine. The clutch is Mitsubishi’s 6 speed SST gearbox with a Southside Performance SST oil cooler kit and Deep Aluminium Sump Pan. It has the SSP Clutch pack upgrade and also a recent gearbox oil change and gearbox filter. The list goes on! The brakes are the AP Racing Factory big brake kit with 6 piston front callipers, Ferodo DS 2500 Performance pads and Fully Floating Disks, the rear callipers are 4 pots with vented disks.
The X features the Super All-Wheel Control system that manages information from the Evo’s other dynamic systems, including Active YAW control, Active Center Differential, Active Stability Contol and Active Front Steer. When you feel all these systems working consecutively, the result is incredible.
