Mercedes have always known exactly how to style a car to give it that classy look that all their customers desire. The diamond-shaped headlights, the sharp, detailed front bumper and the swooping roofline that gently flows down to the boot lid. Surrounding the windows, the front grille and on the boot, there are some small chrome pieces that break up the car and add a little more sense of elegance to the look. All that and some gorgeous grey double spoke alloy wheels add up to the Mercedes experience which they, clearly, take so much pride in.
On the inside, you’ll find some gorgeous white stitched perforated leather heated sports seats with electrically adjustable lumbar support A double textured, leather-wrapped multifunctional steering wheel is installed and behind that is Mercedes’ beautiful aluminium surrounded gauges as well as a beautiful analogue clock. The infotainment screen gives you Radio, CD player and Bluetooth phone connection but the best part of the interior is yet to come. The full panoramic sunroof. Tilt and slide functions which light up the whole interior and would be amazing for stargazing…
This car drives delightfully. The 5-speed automatic transmission, with paddle shifters on the rear of the steering wheel, shifts so elegantly and the power from the engine is delivered smoothly the whole way through the rev range. And speaking of power, this car isn’t slow by any means with a 0-60 in a respectable time of 7.2 seconds. The steering is direct and light and, as with any Merc, a real pleasure to drive.
